Retirement Plan Administrator
Position Type: Retirement Plan Services/DC Plan Administration Team
Join our Plan Administration team and be in a key role handling the administration of defined contribution plans. Utilize your industry knowledge and client service skills to manage a caseload within a strong team of Administrators.
  • Independently handle a caseload of 401k and cross-tested plans
  • Perform plan compliance testing accurately and timely
  • Build client relationships and respond to client requests with urgency
  • Maintain industry knowledge and share information with team members
  • Utilize administration systems and other technologies to maximize efficiencies
  • Review and recommend plan design changes to clients
  • Complete account takeovers and new account set up
  • Coordinate year-end reporting

Requirements
To be a successful team member you should have a solid history in full service plan administration, demonstrate a thirst for knowledge and have the desire to become an excellent technical resource to our clients.

  • 3-5 years of experience in managing a caseload of small to mid-size DC plans
  • Proven technical knowledge to include compliance testing, year-end reporting and plan design
  • Relius Administration experience (or similar)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Analytical and math skills
  • QKA a plus

Payroll Implementation
Position Type:
Payroll Services/Implementation Team Join our Payroll Implementation team and become a valuable resource to our payroll clients. Utilize your payroll processing knowledge to manage the on-boarding of new accounts and enhancements for existing accounts.
  • Set up new payroll accounts through data gathering, data entry and data validation
  • Manage client expectations and implementation schedules
  • Configure payroll systems (timekeeping system, employee portal, etc.) for new account features upon client request
  • Conduct client training and education
  • Assist the client service team with incoming client phone calls
Requirements
Requirements include enthusiasm for client service, high attention to detail and the ablity to pivot between setting up new client accounts and responding to payroll processing questions from existing clients. As well as:
  • 3-5 years of payroll processing experience, payroll provider experience preferred
  • Conduct client training and education
  • Experience in providing client service on a daily basis
  • Experience in providing client service on a daily basis
  • Excel and MS Office skills, payroll scripting skills a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and be accurate in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional communications, verbal and written
  • Ability to handle confidential information

Position Type:
Payroll Sales Consultants
Payroll Sales Consultant primary responsibility is to identify new prospects and sell our human resources, time and attendance, payroll, benefits administration and other modular SaaS solutions. The candidate can expect to develop and execute strategies to network and prospect primarily to businesses that have between 20 and 500 employees.
    • Determine prospective customers’ needs for Payroll, Human Resources and more, then presenting HowardSimon services to meet those needs
    • Prepare and present proposals and provide appropriate follow-up throughout the sales process.
    • Identifying prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing customers, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences
    • Calling on prospective customers, providing technical and administrative product information and quoting appropriate customer prices
    Requirements
